AboutPamela Sustaita artist (México, 1993) Her work focuses mainly on the study of identity, gender, alienation, violence and the absurdly childish. His discourse is built through tiny and compulsive worlds that refer to the dream, alluding to the nightmare as well as the intersection between the real and the unreal. His influences include the work of Henry Darger, Mike Kelley, and Alejandra Pizarnik, as well as his obsession with Japanese culture, art brut, and children's art. He develops his work mainly through drawing and writing. She is a graduate of the National School of Painting, Sculpture & Engraving "La Esmeralda" and has been a scholarship holder in the FONCA Young Creators program specializing in drawing.
